Description
Warren Chang Raiders of the Lost Ark for Atari 2600 Game Manual Pharaoh Statue Illustration Original Art (Atari, 1982). This impressive rendering of a statue of an Egyptian Pharaoh (most likely Rameses II) was used in the game manual for the first of the Indiana Jones series. The superimposed image of the snake adds the element of danger you would expect from an Indiana Jones adventure! The piece appeared on page 178 of the book The Art of Atari in 2016. Rendered in watercolor over color pencil, this piece is signed and dated in the image area. It is framed to 19" x 27" and is in Excellent condition.Auction Info
