Virgil Finlay Thrilling Wonder Stories Summer 1954 "Process Shot" Story Page 15 Illustration Original Art (1954). "...the key to all the secrets of history." Virgil Finlay is well-known for the incredibly intricate detail that he puts into his pieces. This one is a particular stunner with that crazy dense background created with a scratchboard technique. It was for the Sam Merwin Jr. story "Process Shot". Signed by Finlay in the lower right of the 5.5" x 5" image area on the 6.5" x 6" section of Bristol board. It has been affixed to an illustration board backing and matted to 12" x 10". There is glue residue. In Very Good condition.
