Virgil Finlay "Aries" Astrology Magazine Interior Illustration Original Art (c. 1960s). Virgil Finlay is remembered for his fantastic Sci-Fi art, a prolific artist who contributed to many magazines of many genres. This piece was also used as the cover for The Sixth Book of Virgil Finlay: The Astrology Years (Gerry de la Ree, 1980). It was created in ink over graphite on board with some simply stunning stipple work! Signed in the lower left of the 6" x 6" image area. In Excellent condition.From the Harlan Ellison Collection.
