Description

Vigil Finlay Harlequin Illustration Original Art (1962). In addition to his "bread and butter" -- painstakingly detailed pen and ink fantasy drawings, Virgil Finlay was also a fine artist abstractionist. In may shock many fans to hear that he admired Pablo Picasso's art tremendously -- and here is Finlay's own take on a favorite Cubist subject -- the Harlequin. This mixed media piece has an overall size of 13" x 20", and the art is in Very Good condition. Signed "Virgil" and dated at the lower right.
