Vaughn Bode - Freckles Illustration Original Art (Frank E. Richards, 1967). "OK, pal... here's the deal" seems to to be coming from the big man with the red eyes, to the man tied to a tree, in this fabulous early illustration by Underground Comix legend Vaughn Bode. This is one of several illustrations from the controversial book for mentally-challenged children that was at one time banned for its use of "acid" colors, which had been drawn with markers. It is an extremely colorful piece, measuring approximately 7.5" x 11.25", and is in Excellent condition. Matted and framed.Auction Info
