Description

Tom Grindberg - Conan on Horse Illustration Original Art (2001). The mounted Cimmerian warrior rides towards victory, or perhaps away from foreboding situation, by Tom Grindberg, who began working in comics during the 1980s and has illustrated several issues of DC's Warlord, as well as producing the "Crossing Lines" in Marvel Comics Presents story that continued the Shang-Chi story from the last issue of Master of Kung Fu. Created in ink over graphite on paper, with an image area of 7.25' x 6.5". Light toning, with whiteout marks around horse's head, a smudge dot above signature, and minor bend to top right corner. Signed and dated in lower right, and art is in Excellent condition.
