Description

Timothy Truman Gamma World Module GW2 "Famine In Far-Go" First-Draft Illustration Original Art (TSR Hobbies, Inc., 1982). Even though his TSR work was very early in his career, it is not hard at all to see how this art lead to his work in co-creating Grimjack just one year later! A stunning piece, it is an almost identical match for the final published piece on Page 21 of this well-known Gamma World module. The images of the two mutant chickens was redrawn with only slight changes. The robots in the background were completely changed out for non-humanoid versions. The GW2 module has the most iconic cover of any Gamma World publication. This piece was created in ink and ink wash over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 7" x 9". It is marked "GW #12" in the lower margin. In Excellent condition.
