Description

Thomas Pratt (as Kneon Transitt) - Uncle Scrooge Christmas Specialty Illustration Original Art (2009). Scrooge McDuck didn't build his fortune on holiday cheer -- and he's not about to start now. Dressed as Santa, the old miser hands Huey, Dewey, and Louie their presents... and promptly follows up with an itemized invoice. While not a direct cover recreation, this piece channels the same sharp spirit as Don Rosa's Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck #2 cover, where Scrooge's idea of Christmas giving is as frugal as it gets. The art is by Kneon Transitt, pen name of Thomas Pratt, an American comic book artist and colorist known for his work across Disney and indie comics alike. Rendered in graphite on Bristol board with image area of 10.5" x 12.75". Light smudging, whiteout touch-up, and light handling wear. Signed and dated in the lower right corner. In Excellent condition.
