Description
Theodor Seuss Geisel (as Dr. Seuss) - FLIT Advertising Illustration Original Art (c. 1934-39). The man later known as "Dr. Seuss" got his start in advertising art such as this. This piece was published two decades before The Cat In The Hat, but you can already see his unusual ideas about cat anatomy! Created in ink over graphite on 14.25" x 12.5" Bristol board. The board is toned, with foxing and minor stains. Signed in white in the lower right. In Good condition.
