Description
Tanino Liberatore - Ranxerox Illustrations Original Art Group of 2 (2004/2009). The Cyborg star of Heavy Metal stories is featured on two great images in this group. If you are unfamiliar with the character, but are a Frank Zappa fan, you might recognize the art style, as Liberatore produced the art for Zappa's album The Man From Utopia". The first of these two pieces is a gut-wrenching piece that really gets to the heart of what makes RanXerox tick! It was rendered in color pencil and watercolor on Bristol board, and signed/dated in the lower right of the 10.75" x 14.75" image area. The second piece is a more loose work in graphite with watercolor on art paper. Signed and dated just below and to the right of the 12" x 18" image area. The pieces have very light creases in places; however, are in overall Excellent condition.More information about Tanino Liberatore.
