Description
Swiss Family Robinson Illustration Original Art (Circa 1960's). Disney licensed the Swiss Family Robinson for several books in the early 1960's. In 1960 there was a Whitman version written by Steven Freeze. In 1961, there was a Golden Reading Adventure book. And in 1963 there was a Golden Book. This is a really large (16" x 12.5" image area) drawing of the Swiss Family Robinson, their tree house, and some animals, likely from one of those books. Graphite, pen, ink, and blue pencil on 19" x 16" Illustration board. There is some staining on the image, and a large chunk of the bottom right corner is torn, but not near the image area.
