Stuart Sayger - Hellboy Specialty Illustration Original Art (2004). Hellboy wades through murky, knee-deep water, his massive Right Hand of Doom gripping a jarred brain like it's just another Tuesday. Staring back through a grimy door window is a figure that looks suspiciously like Robo-Hitler, in a moody illustration that channels the eerie essence of Karl Ruprecht Kroenen and Professor von Klempt. Ink, wash, marker, and white paint over graphite on Bristol board with an end-to-end image area of 14" x 17". Signed and dated by Sayger in the lower right. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
