Description
Stan Sakai - Usagi Yojimbo Illustration Original Art (1988). Miyamoto Usagi, armed and armored and ready for battle, charges forward on this great illustration. An early piece of the ronin rabbit, it bears Sakai's red Hanko stamp in the lower left. He eventually discontinued marking his work with this hand-stamp as the ink took too long to dry. Produced in ink with gouache and acrylic washes on bright white 14" x 17" Bristol board. Signed and dated in the lower right.
