Sergio Aragonés - MAD Paperback Illustration Original Art (Warner Books, c. 1960s). Here is a great example of the master of a thousand gags, Sergio Aragonés, and the effortless way he constructs a joke, using Pinocchio as a jumping off point. Simple, direct, and always worth a chuckle or a guffaw. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 4.5" x 9". Light toning, light handling, one torn corner. Rubylith acetate screen taped to board. Signed and dated (1969) by Aragonés in the In bottom right corner. Very Good condition.More information about Sergio Aragonés.
