Description
Sam Kieth Fish Police #7 "Next Issue" Illustration Original Art (Fishwrap Productions, 1987). A running feature of this title was the guest artist doing the "Next Issue" page. This time it was Sam Kieth, who was just then beginning to make a name for himself. He would be much more well-known after his run on Sandman, Marvel Comics Presents, and of course The Maxx. This piece was created in ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Onion skin overlay taped on the back and light edge/handling wear. Signed by Kieth in the bottom image area. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
