Sam Glanzman Sgt. Rock of Easy Company Illustration Original Art (2002). Sgt. Rock ranks with Superman and Batman and Wonder Woman among the kingpin heroes of DC Comics -- even though the war comics seldom crossed over with the superhero titles. This stand-alone piece captures the character to perfection. Rock is more commonly associated with Joe Kubert, but Glanzman makes a fine illustrator for the character, and Glanzman is among DC's finest war-comics artists. Ink over graphite on Collegiate-brand illustration board. Image area, 11.25" x 17". Faint toning. Excellent condition.More information about Sam Glanzman.
