Description

Sam Cobean The New Yorker Single Panel Gag Cartoon Illustration Original Art (Condé Nast Publ., 1952). When the clubs won't help, it's time to reach for the whiskey iron. This gag was published in The New Yorker on 6-7 of 1952, and created in ink and crayon on art paper with an image area of 12.5" x 9.5". Toning, with frame shadow, 1.25" top edge tear and two minor edge tears, creasing, and significant handling wear. Signed by Cobean in the lower right image area. In Good condition.
