Description
Roy G. Krenkel - Savage Land Illustration Original Art (undated). Roy G. Krenkel specialized in drawing backgrounds, and assisting such famous names such as Frank Frazetta, Al Williamson, Wallace Wood, Joe Orlando, and Gil Kane on comic book projects. He later devoted himself to illustrating, most notably cover illustrations for books by Edgar Rice Burroughs and Otis A. Kline. This pen and ink is a beauty, and includes several unfinished areas that allow for a view into Krenkel's process; image area is approximately 8" x 4.75".
