Ross Lewis Editorial Cartoon Original Art (Milwaukee Journal, undated). King Michael of Romania, who abdicated in 1947, and his new bride, the former Princess Anne of Bourbon-Parma, were famously seeking a place to settle in the world. They ultimately lived in Switzerland, but in this cartoon by Pulitzer Prize winner, Ross Lewis, they visit a trailer-home sales lot. The image area measures 10.5" x 8.5".
