Description
Roger Brand Strawbrick's Revenge Original Art Illustration (1971). Brand straddled the worlds of Underground and mainstream comics with style and grace, producing such subterranean gems as this piece while settling in as an assistant to such masters as Wally Wood and Gil Kane. The present page, published in Gary Arlington's Nickel Library, combines a revolutionary scenario with a backdrop of the traditional Yin-and-Yang symbol. Ink over graphite on Bristol board.
