Description

Robert McGinnis International Velvet Movie Poster Illustration Painting Original Art (MGM, 1978). Robert McGinnis is well-known for the vast number of movie posters and paperback book covers he has painted in his long career. This gorgeous piece features images of stars Nanette Newman and Tatum O'Neal. The story of Velvet Brown (National Velvet) continues as her niece Sarah takes up the dream of Olympic Gold. Produced in gouache on 24" x 24" illustration board, the image of Tatum O'Neal on American Pie is a glossy color paste-up stat. The stat has a crease and a rip in it, but is well-adhered to the board. There is some production tape in the margins and slight handling. Artist Robert McGinnis signed just under the image area below the horse. Overall in Excellent condition.
