Description
Robert Crumb Monster Greeting Cards #10 Illustration Original Art (Topps, 1965). On the card front, this little cutie says "When I grow up I'll be like you!", and the card back punchline is "Old and Ugly!" A wacky and obscure card set, prized by collectors of both R. Crumb art and "gross humor" type cards. This original art piece was created in ink and watercolor over graphite on 3.5" x 4.75" Bristol board. The card art has been mounted in a Plexiglas-front plaque with two copies of the card itself (to show front and back). The plaque measures 10.5" x 13". There is an engraved metal plate that had been affixed to the plaque and is now included loose. The art presents in Excellent condition.More information about Robert Crumb.
