Description
Robert Crumb - Hand-Crafted Christmas Card (American Greetings, 1963) R. Crumb's first job after High School in 1962 was designing novelty greeting cards for American Greetings in Cleveland, Ohio. Here we have a highly developed, hand-drawn and hand-colored card design that appears ready to mail. More than a preliminary, it resembles a finished product. The card measures 3.75" x 8", and reads "Season's Greetings" on the front and " and "... and Holiday Cheers besides" on the inside. It has previously been affixed to a backing board, leaving some tape behind. Overall in Very Good condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.More information about Robert Crumb.
