Description

Robert Crumb Arcade, the Comics Revue #3 Original Art for Charles Bukowski Story (The Print Mint, 1975). A bold last rallying for the first Underground Comix movement, Arcade also initiated a persistent collaboration between Crumb and Beat poet/author Bukowski (they would develop further art-and-story combinations in limited hardcover editions). The story involved here is a reminiscent ramble about the burlesque trade. Accompanied by a published copy. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10.25" x 11.25", framed to 15.75" x 16.75". White-paint correction on the title. Excellent condition.
