Rick Griffin The Gospel of John "John the Baptist" Preliminary Illustration Original Art (The Word For Today, 2008). This was the prelim design for a finished page that appeared on Page 1 of the story "In The Beginning". Created in ink and white paint highlights on board. Signed in the lower right of the 14.5" x 14.5" image area. Glass-front framed to 23.5" x 23.25". Toned and in Very Good condition.
