Here's young Benny finding that penny, from the opening pages of this much-loved children's book. Rare early art from prolific artist/writer Richard Scarry (1919 - 1994). Art is in gouache as a two-page spread on a single piece of illustration board; image area measures approximately 12.75" x 6.75". A copy of the book is included.
