Description
Richard Sala Garbage Detectives Illustration Original Art (c. 1990s). Sala (1954-2020) leaves an artistic legacy of wit and mystery and horror to stand with those of such art nouveau marvels as Aubrey Beardsley and Edward Gorey. Here is one of Sala's more haunting miniatures - a composition whose title may be taken literally. No publishing pedigree is documented; a typeset label in one margin suggests a gallery exhibition. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. The dimensions are 5.75" x 4", matted to 16" x 14.75". Excellent condition.More Information: EDIT: Single item of original artwork...
