Richard Corben The STreet Enterprises Benefit Portfolio Original Art (Street Enterprises, 1975). This drawing was originally created for a 1972 unpublished fanzine, Super One. It was later published in the 1975 limited edition The STreet Enterprises Benefit Portfolio book from the publishers of The Comic Reader. An otherworldly creature devours his prey, who by the look of the space-age rifle on the ground, had been originally the hunter. It's a great science-fiction piece from the hand of animator-turned-cartoonist, Richard Corben, and is referenced in the rare Corben Index. It was originally given to editor Sam de la Rosa, and intended to accompany an interview with Corben. Ink and whiteout on illustration board, with an approximate image area of 6.5" x 7". The artboard has some minor soiling outside the image area; overall Excellent condition. Signed. From the Eric Sack Collection.
