Description
R. F. Outcault - Girl in Swimsuit Illustration Original Art (1902). Famed creator of both Buster Brown and the Yellow Kid painted this charming and lovely image of a little girl in her turn-of-the-century swimsuit. It is signed and dated in the lower right. The 10" x 12" Bristol board page is tanned, with some frame burn on the sides of the image area. There are a couple of small rips in the edges and the bottom right corner is broken; however intact. None of the defects detract from the incredibly lovely image. Overall this is in Very Good condition, which is remarkable given the age.More information about R. F. Outcault.
