Pete Alvarado, Dick Hall, and Others Droopy, Howdy Doody, Looney Tunes, etc. Illustrations Original Art Group of 20-Plus (1950s-80s). A generous sampling of (mostly) activity-book art, highlighted by two Howdy Doody cartoons (Hall) and a delightful showcase piece (Alvarado) for Tex Avery's cartoon hound, Droopy. Kelly Jarvis is represented by a more recent wristwatch design depicting Tweety Bird. A larger grouping includes various Looney Tunes and Animaniacs figures, and yet another contains an assortment of teen-themed illustrations for what appears to have been a book on dating etiquette (pedigree undocumented). Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image areas, 8" x 9" to 8" square, with variations. Average Very Good condition, with some reverse sides containing waxen adhesive.
