Description

Paul Gulacy - Daredevil and Black Widow Specialty Illustration Original Art (undated). The Man Without Fear and Marvel's femme fatale shared one of the publisher's signature 1970s romances, fighting side by side in San Francisco during the celebrated "Daredevil and Black Widow" era before their passionate but unstable relationship gave way to a lasting bond as allies and former lovers. Gulacy, inspired as a teenager by the art of Jim Steranko, pairs the duo here in a large city-set illustration whose dark, graphic flair feels more than a little in keeping with that influence. Created in mixed media on illustration board with an end-to-end image area of 14.75" x 20.75". Signed by Gulacy in the lower left and in Excellent condition.
