Paul Coker Jr. Help! Unpublished Gag Illustration (Warren, c.1960s). Coker's scruffy K-9 wolfs down his meal while a rattled studio crew builds a dog food commercial around him. Likely prepared for Help! but left unpublished, the mutt also turned up in Help! Vol. 1, #9, where Coker gave the same shaggy ham another shot at glory. Ink and ink wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 7" x 10". Light toning. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
