Patrick McDonnell Little Neuro's Bed Illustration Original Art Group (2011). Patrick McDonnell, creator of Mutts (page 83): "Richard Thompson's Cul de Sac is a classic. With its wonderful writing, masterful drawing, and expressive characters, it has the magical quality of joy and intimacy that is found in all the truly great comic strips. It's one of the best."
