Description
Norman Saunders - Wacky Packages "Sailem" Illustration Original Art (Topps, 1973). "Better to sail 'em than smoke 'em" is the motto on this wild parody package. According to the Wacky Packages Website, these were the creation of Art Spiegelman (who came up with the concept and jokes) and Norm Saunders, who rendered the realistic-looking designs. Originally sold at Topps' 1989 auction; these original art pieces have skyrocketed in demand ever since.
