    Description

    Murphy Anderson Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #2 The Blackhawks Illustration Original Art Group of 2 (DC, 1985). The Blackhawk team is spotlighted on this wonderful drawing from DC's encyclopedic series detailing all of their major characters. The original pencil work for this was created by Dave Cockrum. Murphy Anderson lightboxed those pencils to ink these pieces on vellum. Included are the top layer which features the characters of André, Stanislaus, Hendrickson, Chop-Chop, Olaf, and Chuck, as well as the bottom layer which was used as a solid red background. The top layer has a diagonal crease in the top right (not into the image area), and the background layer has a 2" rip in the top edge just down to the image itself. The overall image area measures 11" x 11". In Very Good condition. From the Murphy Anderson Collection.
