Murphy Anderson Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #10 Hourman Illustration Original Art Group of 2 (DC, 1985). The Man of the Hour... the man with no time for crime... "Tick-Tock" Tyler himself, the Golden Age Hourman, as rendered by one of DC's Golden Age artists, Mr. Murphy Anderson! Anderson first drew Hourman in the 1965 Showcase #55 story "Solomon Grundy Goes on a Rampage!" This image was created in two parts. The background image (featuring the hourglass and other elements viewable in our online listing) was printed in a solid blue behind the four-color main image. Both pieces were created in ink on vellum with an image area of approximately 7" x 15". In Excellent condition. From the Murphy Anderson Collection.
