Mike Mignola Thor: God of Thunder Balder Concept Design Original Art (c. 1990s). Conceived for an unproduced Thor: God of Thunder series, Mike Mignola's Balder carries calm authority. Hands rest at his hips, cape falling straight, features firm. The design looks to ancient legend rather than the familiar Marvel version. Ink over graphite on paper with an image area of 4.5" x 10".
