    Description

Michael Lynch Hotrod Necrophilyic [sic] Original Art (c. 1990s). Lynch (unrelated to Underground Comix pioneer Jay Lynch) takes a cue from the dragstrip/hot-rod school of cartooning for this ghoulish and imaginative riff. The large-scale painting contains a wealth of detail, especially in the contours of the vehicle. Gouache on illustration board, with spatter-painted highlights. Image area, 18" x 18". A protective transparent sheet is taped in place. Moderate ink deterioration in the title logotype (bottom). Very Good condition From the Eric Sack Collection.
