Michael H. Price's Hollywood Horrors Original Art Group of 5 Including John Carradine and Lionel Atwill (Cremo Studios/Shel-Tone Publ., 1992). Price developed Hollywood Horrors as an offshoot of his bestselling Forgotten Horrors books. This splendid array of stipple portraits contains character studies of Leslie Banks, from The Most Dangerous Game; Carradine, as seen in Revenge of the Zombies; Colin Clive, from Frankenstein; Lionel Atwill, from Murders in the Zoo and Man-Made Monster; and Mischa Auer, as seen in The Monster Walks and Sucker Money. The large-scale compositions were designed for reproduction in miniature (sepiatone) as part of a collector-card portfolio. Ink and varied other media on Bristol board. Image areas, 9" x 13.75". Excellent condition, with light toning. From the Michael H. Price/Cremo Studios Archives.
