Description
Michael Bair - Star-Spangled Kid and S.T.R.I.P.E. Specialty Illustration Original Art (2000). A bright, all-American pin-up of Courtney Whitmore and her hulking robot partner S.T.R.I.P.E., with stepdad Pat Dugan at the controls. Courtney had only debuted the year before in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. as the Star-Spangled Kid, and she'd soon level up, inheriting Jack Knight's cosmic staff and becoming Stargirl in 2003. Ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 13.5". Signed and dated by Bair in the lower right image area. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
