Description

McDonaldland Captain Crook Mural Paintings by Wes Cook Original Art Group of 2 (McDonald's/Setmakers, 1980). Captain Crook's mission in life is to catch and eat all the goggle-eyed Filet-O-Fish. Here is an outstanding pair of hand-painted murals showcasing Captain Crook fishing for Filet-O-Fish in his rowboat, with Gobblins looking on and Filet-O-Fish in the water. The second hand-painted mural is the reaction of this by Apple Pie Trees and Gobblins. These magnificent large paintings on canvas were created from original Wes Cook artwork, and are the published originals for interior design pieces bringing McDonaldland and its characters into McDonald's locations globally. The Captain Crook mural is 6' 9" x 3' 1" while the reacting Apple Pie Tree mural is 6' 11" x 3' 4". These are from the Setmakers Archives, and are considered extremely rare. The original roll-up poles are still attached to each painting. Minor handling and edge wear, and surface dirt. Sold as is. Good condition.
