Description

Matt Baker - Flamingo Specialty Illustration Original Art (c. 1950s). This sultry specialty illustration of Flamingo, that was drafted by Matt Baker for Jerry Iger, is a fine example of Baker's natural gift for drawing beautiful women. Flamingo was a short-lived daily comic strip that Baker illustrated with Ruth Roche, Iger's business partner and Baker's frequent writing collaborator. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 6.5" x 9.5". Signed by Baker in the image area. Lightly toned and in otherwise Excellent condition.
