Marc Hempel - The Endless Family Portrait Illustration Original Art (undated). A raven sweeps overhead as the Endless assemble in a stark black and white tableau. Dream commands the center, surrounded by Death, Desire, Despair, Destiny, Delirium, and Destruction. Marc Hempel carves each figure with sharp line and shadow, echoing his indelible work on the Sandman story arc "The Kindly Ones". Created in ink and ink wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 16"; matted and glass-front framed to 18.5" x 24.5". Signed by Hempel in the lower right of the image area.
