Description
Marc Hempel Sandman #63 Panel Illustration Original Art (DC/Vertigo, 1994). Two panels from the Neil Gaiman story "The Kindly Ones: 7", and one of them is a fantastic close up of the Lord of Dreams himself! "The Kindly Ones" was a story arc very popular with fans and was instrumental in the transformation of the Lord of Dreams from Morpheus to Daniel. The first panel was used as Panel 2 from Page 15, and it features Thessaly drawing a bloody protection circle. The second was used as Panel 3 on Page 7, and features Morpheus. These were created in ink over graphite on a 9.75" x 6.5" section of Bristol board. Signed and dated by Hempel in the lower margin. In Excellent condition.More information about Marc Hempel.
