Description
Luis Royo Dead Moon Part 2 Illustration Original Art (Editions Bragelone Milady, 2009). A grand and brutal fantasy tale, and Luis Royo's most ambitious work. It follows two heroes: Luna and Marte, born into rival families entrenched in fortified strongholds at opposite ends of a city torn apart by their conflict. Violent and romantic, this gothic, oriental-tinged story builds toward an apocalyptic finale, echoing the fall of Sodom. The image area is 8.5" x 8.5" and is professionally framed with UV-protective glazing. The frame measures 16.5" x 22.5". The art is signed at the lower left, in reverse by Royo because for publication purposes, the publisher wanted the drawing to be reversed.
