    Description

Leslie Cabarga Dope Menace Illustration Original Art (c. 1990s). Cabarga, a master of the Depression-era style of cartooning, shapes this bright miniature as a parody of old-time cautionary images against marijuana. The drawing recalls animated cartoons from the Fleischer Bros. studio of Old Hollywood. Ink over graphite on illustration board, with Rubylith color-shading overlay. Image area, 4.5" x 6". Light toning. Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
