Description
Josh Middleton and Mitch Breitweiser - New Mutant Sofia Mantega and Iceman Commission Illustrations Original Art Group of 2 (c. 2000s). Joshua Middleton is well-known for co-creating the mutant X-23 in NYX with Joe Quesada. Sofia Mantega first appeared in New Mutants V2#1, and Joshua Middleton provided the cover. She was later known under her codename of Wind Dancer. Iceman, of course, was a founding member of the X-Men and first appeared in Issue #1 of that title. The Middleton piece was created in graphite over blue pencil on 6.75" x 10.5" bright white Bristol board.
