Joseph Michael Linsner - Skeletal Warrior Envelope Illustration Original Art (1987). A couple years before co-founding Cry For Dawn Productions and introducing Dawn, the goddess of birth and rebirth, Joe Linsner sent a package to Kitchen Sink Press, where the artist showed off some of his talent on the front of the envelope. A stunning image of a skeletal warrior holding a freshly decapitated head stared back at Denis Kitchen, and the founder of the comic company was so impressed by what he saw, he held on to this piece for nearly 40 years! Beautifully rendered in mixed media on an 12" x 9" envelope. Creasing and handling wear, with a tear in the bottom right corner through Linsner's signature. In Very Good condition.
