Description
José Luis García-Lopez and Dick Giordano DC Style Guide Illustration Batman and Robin Original Art (DC, 1982). "Unsung hero" José Luis García-Lopez supplied much of the Style Guide art, as well as the licensing model art for DC for several decades. The 1982 DC Style Guide was their in-house publication for internal DC use only, but it is legendary in fan circles as it is chock-full of fantastic line work that brings energy to the page. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13.75" x 10". Light overall toning, marginal pinholes, corner bends, and all text and Bat-symbol are stat paste-ups.
