Jordi Bernet - Torpedo Illustration Original Art (c. 1980-2000). Writer Enrique Sánchez Abulí and artist Jordi Bernet's Torpedo was a hard-hitting no-flinching drive down the dark streets of the city that you should not be driving down. It was "Crime Noir" with a flick of cigarette ash in your drink. And this cover image shows they mean business! The illustration is laid out like a cover image (or at the very least a splash page); however, we cannot identify when where or even if it has been published before. Created in ink as black as your eye over graphite as grey as the city sky. There is even a little whiteout "clean-up" work on it. The signature in the lower left side of the Bristol board's 10" x 13" is an original paste-up. Lightly toned and in Very Good condition. Get your bid in... before someone else does.
